We supply the organic Meyer lemon whenever possible. This variety starts in May and can be held on the trees as needed. When the organic lemon turns yellow in May/June the skin is very firm and smooth but as the fruit matures the intensity of the yellow colour increases and the skin becomes less firm and softer to touch. Fruit at this stage are delicious to eat, even the skin, and although they appear old they have will have just been picked. Late autumn can be a difficult time for supply but there is always the firmer less juicy organic Yen Ben variety available ensuring a continuous supply of organic produce.
